Your career path:
New consultants at Oliver Wyman get greater client and global opportunities and develop unique expertise sooner than their peers at other consulting firms. Specialized expertise enables you to ‘own’ an area of our business early on and create more impact for our clients. Some clients still hire generalist ‘management’ consultancies for what they think. Oliver Wyman clients hire us for what we know.
As a new consultant, you’ll set your own course and advance at your own speed. We don’t require you to leave after 2 years for graduate school.
Internships at Oliver Wyman provide a true taste of life as a consultant and unique preparation for a full-time role. You’ll be staffed on projects and treated like full team members with responsibility for a distinct piece of work. Coaching and feedback is provided throughout your time with us. We consider candidates in their penultimate year of university study. Most join during the summer or a winter term. In some European countries, we offer internships throughout the year.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for candidates with an outstanding academic track, maturity, initiative, intuition, creativity, a down-to-earth, personable manner – and a strong background in problem solving and analytical skills. An interest in international travel is a must. Oliver Wyman encourages a strong entrepreneurial spirit and is looking for people to help the firm grow, and lead the business into exciting new areas.
